Over 1.7 million people have been ordered to evacuate from areas being threatened with catastrophic destruction due to Hurricane Florence which is now impacting the coasts of North and South Carolina.

As of Thursday at 9 a.m., more than 2,200 people have been evacuated from 113 health care facilities along the coast. DHEC continues to communicate with facilities to assess and monitor their status and identify any needs or issues they may have. #HurricaneFlorence
